In my second installment of celebrity closeups, here's Busta Rhymes. I just loved this photograph 'cause it caricatured his already gigantic and elastic face without me having to draw him! So I exaggerated his already distorted features slightly.
NICE to see you posting again... after over HALF A YEAR!! noticed also you cleaned house a little...deleting all your links and stuff and adding a new hand drawn profile pic...NICE and clean...that caricature of yours is one of my favorites.
you have a thing for drawing caricatures of felonious celebrities don't you...first mike vick now busta! just kidding! but seriously this busta is off the hook,you really captured his crazy side! i can see how he can be kind of easy to draw as you reallly don't have to exaggerate his features that much!
Saw this as it was being created...Jess works quickly..so there's no excuses for not having more posts down the line..this came out really cool! Love the pencil technique. A real strong image.

Justin, thanks for inspiring me to post more and lending an ear, brother. I needed it. And thanks for the compliments, dude! "Jesse works fast...???" Wow, I'm like, one of the slowest motherfuckers out there! You must have me confused for Jesse James who can "draw" his gun quickly...hehe. Jason, thanks bro, just looking at all the beautiful, inspiring art all you talented mofos put up every week is enough to shame anyone to put pencil to paper. And yes, I like to draw dangerous people. ;) I just like drawing striking images...some people are boring to draw but these guys...although I must admit I hate having an homage to that puppy killer up on my site. But, if I censor myself, might as well stop drawing altogether, right? Thanks for the awesome comments, fellas! Oh yeah, and Jason, I didn't really clean up my links but when I switched to the new Blogger, I guess they just disappeared. Gotta fix that now.
Wow, coming from the Caricature King, that's high praise! Thanks, Dan! You're good at that stuff, this was just easy to do 'cause his face is literally elastic. If you saw the actual photo, you'd see all I really did was elongate his jaw and made his nostrils wider. I should post the photo, although it's tiny. Couldn't find a hi-res of it.
